I first visited Disney World in January 1972. Over the years, I took a number of pictures while vacationing here. So I cherish the pictures I did take … Continue reading "Step Back in Time – Magic Kingdom"

Tomorrow’s child (Tomorrow’s Child) Gathering gifts from our past. Tomorrow’s child (Tomorrow’s Child) Shaping a world that will last… Ah, that song brings back fond memories of Epcot’s early days. Typical Research Day – Animal Kingdom

I thought I’d talk about what I do to verify Hidden Mickey sightings that folks send me. As many of you know, I like to use fairly stringent criteria for the “classic” (three-circle) Mickey. The highest order criterion is if an Imagineer or Disney artist tells me directly that he or she placed a Hidden … Continue reading "Typical Research Day – Animal Kingdom"

Marathoning with Mike and Mickey: Race Aftermath: Part 2

Sunday: The Day After I woke up and the first thing I thought was, “Okay, let’s see what the knee has to say.” It didn’t say anything. It sort of screamed at me. A hot shower helped with the stiffness. I headed to the Studios theme park to have lunch with Deb and Linda at … Continue reading "Marathoning with Mike and Mickey: Race Aftermath: Part 2"
