RADP V Scrapbook Kilimanjaro Safari Meet

Bright and early the next morning it was off to Animal Kingdom for an
8:30 Kilimanjaro Safari meet. I was VERY impressed that 45 folks joined
in the fun as we filled 2 safari jeeps.

Sean,
Meeko and Ping look more like they are ready to trade pins than ride into
the savanah!

Safari Meet was at 8:15 AM. Some had closed the Adventurer's Club the
night before and you really have to admire that kind of dedication : ).
We ended up in two jeeps. The animals were very cooperative. The highlight
was seeing not just one but two Cheetahs awake and roaming around."

We made it
to the meet just in time. After having a few minutes to meet some folks
(Rob, Deb Wills, Jenn, Bill and Dee, Scoutmom) it was time to get on the
ride. It was really funny to see the look on the CM's face when she was
told we were a party of 45. The animals were pretty active. We had one
small unscheduled delay for a giraffe to cross the road. That's what I
really like about the safari – you are right there with the animals. Rodney
