VIBE
Live!
Pleasure Island
Downtown Disney
June 8-10, 2000
The ultimate fantasy concert is set to rock Downtown Disney Pleasure Island during VIBE Live! — an annual celebration of Black Music Month at Walt Disney World Resort. The three-day music-fest June 8-10 headlines multi-platinum R&B, soul and hip-hop artists including Tyrese, Blaque, Mobb Deep, Kevon Edmunds, The Roots and Li'l Kim.
For some "old school" let-me-tell-you-how-it-is flavor, rap star Doug E. Fresh turns out rhymes and beats guaranteed to move the body, and passionate balladeer Teena Marie gets to the core of relationships with her greatest hits. Teena Marie is also set to receive the 2000 VIBE Props award.
VIBE
Magazine and Pleasure Island joined five years ago to produce what
has become the world's most popular Black Music Month celebration.
