A few weeks ago we were sitting at our kitchen table when I said to Carol, “We have Disney stuff in every room of the house except the kitchen. Why don’t we have it here too?”
She raised a single eyebrow and gave me that look . . . you know the look that every wife in the world has perfected?
The look that asks the silent question, ‘Are you blind or just plain stupid?’
She pointed in this direction . . .
I got up and took a closer look at the shelf on the wall . . .
Then she pointed down, just a bit lower . . .
I took another close look, this time at the cabinet with the lamp . . .
Next she pointed at the tea cart beside the sliding door . . .
I found this on the bottom shelf . . .
Ooops — is it possible I was wrong?
Then Carol stood up and started opening doors and drawers. Not a word was spoken but the message was loud and clear! Our kitchen is full of Disney stuff!
Let’s take a peek at some of it.
Carol even pulled a few things out and arranged them on our kitchen hutch so I could take a few pictures!
So . . . I have to admit it . . . I was wrong! There is a lot of Disney stuff in our kitchen!

We have those salt and pepper shakers, Gary…In addition to some Tervis Tumblers, coffee mugs, dish towels, oven mitts, pet bowls, a cutting board…

I was thinking while reading about what I have. Lots! Mickey pizza cutter, Minnie bottle stopper, bowls, a big plastic Mickey bowl I use as a fruit bowl, kitchen towels, ice cube moulds, cups and glasses.
So nice to have little touches around to remember the magic! 🙂
We use our Disney silverware everyday. At one point my husband suggested to use it only for special occasions, I said I miss Disney everyday and want a piece of it with me all the time.
We also have a Disney tea kettle, measuring cups, ice cube trays (which are the kids favourite), the Mickey Mouse stamp for toast and the reusable cubes.
Every time we go I try to buy one item for the house that can be used everyday.
We live in Manitoba, Canada and don’t get to Disney as often as I wish we could, so it is great to see Disney around us and remember our great family time at Disney.

Of course there’s Disney stuff in my kitchen!! From measuring cups to mugs to all the things you mentioned as well! The ONLY room in our house without Disney stuff is my husbands home theatre (as long as you don’t count all the Disney blu Rays in the drawers) 😉
We even have hidden Mickeys stamped in our patterned concrete front porch and walkway. I always tell visitors that from a distance it looks like grown ups live in our house. LOL
