  1. I find this to be a very odd choice.

I haven’t been interested in basketball since the Bulls were on their run in the 90s.

  2. Ok, my wife and I grew up playing pinball machines and eventually hit space invaders and the so-called early video machines. We loved them. When our men were kids, we could spend all day every day there if we let them.

We also enjoyed it greatly. Blasts from the past etc. And don’t forget the great dessert snacks!!!

Now it will be Basketball. Why not Football? Or Hockey? Or water polo??? (Ok, water polo is out as the horses keep drowning, I get it.)….. How many people are basketball fans? We happen to have had 2 boys who grew to be 6’6″ and 6’3″ and love basketball.

However, I do not see the overwhelming clamoring by everyone for a basketball themed “Experience”. I am sure my 80+ year old parents will have a blast shooting hoops and breaking bones, instead of playing pinball with the grandchildren.

File this idea right up there with Pet friendly…Hey, why don’t those people bring their dogs in to play hoops too! Arrrgghhhh !! Change just for change sake, is not always for the better.

  3. I think that personally this is not the best choice Disney could have made for that space. There may be a lot of basketball fans out there, but I was hoping they would have re-imagined that space into something more Disney related. I think Disney Quest was a great thing and I understand attendance was on the decline. However, maybe they could have upgraded it a little more to bring back the guests. Just my opinion
