Janet Brindle Reddick writes: I just wanted to let you know about renovations at the Wilderness Lodge. We stayed the weekend of May 19-22 in room 5073 (an amazing courtyard view!) and the room was all refurnished, painted, and had new fixtures... It looks like they had done all of the 6th floor and half of the 5th. When we were there, they were doing the other half of the floor with a HUGE crew of workers.

A dark tarp was put over the balcony, so you can't see the work from the lobby, and there's a false wall put up down the hallway near the elevator to close off all of those rooms. We never heard the construction from our room, and it seems like they were only doing it during the day.

The room had new carpet, new curtains and
even a flat-screen television (above).
