Dear Friends,
I have signed up for the May 5-6, 2012 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Washington DC!
In addition to celebrating 25 years of being a survivor, I continue to be involved in the fight against Breast Cancer to spread awareness about this dreaded disease.
Recently I received these letters that just reinforces why I must continue this fight:
I am humbled by this facebook post from a dear dear friend: "I've known Deb for 15 years. It is because of her that I went for my regular screenings. It is because I went, that my cancer was found so early." And her brother replied: "You are a gift! Thank you for saving my sister! I WILL ALWAYS BE IN YOUR DEBT!!"
"I just found out to have gone REALLY metastatic, and we'll start antracyclines on Tuesday. Fight this good fight for all of us, Deb!!"
For the 2011 Washington DC walk you helped me raise over $77,000! Many of you have supported me throughout the years. For that I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
I know these are very difficult times for many people due to the economy. It's also a very difficult time for those who are fighting Breast Cancer. Please consider supporting me now in the fight against breast cancer!!
