Unwrapping New Toy Story Land Details

When Toy Story Land opens on June 30, there will be more than just new attractions Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. It was just announced that Sarge and the Green Army Man Drum Corps will be marching several times a day through Toy Story Land, while another contingent of Green Army Men will hold an interactive boot camp, during which they'll play with guests using giant Pixar balls, oversized crayons and a game of SARGE SAYS (their own spin on Simon Says). New merchandise will include a special line of t-shirts and quirky Slinky Dog and green alien headbands.

Toy Story Mania Toy Story Land Disney’s Hollywood Studios

In other Toy Story Land news, two new characters have been unveiled in the Toy Story Mania! queue at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lenny, Andy's walking binoculars, and Chuckles the clown, who was introduced in "Toy Story 3," became the latest Toy Story characters to be represented in Toy Story Mania! The boxes the toys originally came in line one section of the queue. These new details were unwrapped as the attraction transforms for the opening of Toy Story Land on June 30. Toy Story Land guests will walk through an all-new entrance featuring a carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania!, which has been a guest-favorite attraction at the park since it opened in 2008.

Toy Story Land Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World Imagineers have welcomed Woody, the cowboy from the Toy Story movies, to his permanent place in Toy Story Land. Standing nearly 20 feet tall, Woody is a part of the new Toy Story Land marquee, which sits just in front of one of the land's most anticipated attractions, the Slinky Dog Dash coaster. Woody tips his hat (which measures 7 feet across), next to the marquee, which is made out of alphabet blocks and a 4-foot-tall yo-yo -- just a few of the many toys that make up Toy Story Land.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Beginning August 1, Disney Early Morning Magic will be offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney Early Morning Magic launched at Magic Kingdom in April of this year to give guests the opportunity to be among the first to experience theme park attractions and breakfast inside the park. At the Studios, Early Morning Magic begins at 7:45 a.m., when guests can enter the park and experience several attractions and character meet-and-greets: Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, Toy Story Mania!, Pixar Place character greetings (with Woody and Buzz), Mickey and Minnie on Commissary Lane and Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight. An all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast will be available at ABC Commissary from 8 to 10 a.m. Tickets, which are limited, cost $69 for adults and $59 for children ages 3-9 (plus tax). (A theme park ticket is required in addition to the Disney Early Morning Magic ticket.
