As of March 13, 2016, the Diamond Horseshoe is now open for an "all you care to eat" table service lunch and dinner. AllEars.Net's Deb Wills recently tried the new offering and shares her thoughts and photos.
Starting March 13, the Diamond Horseshoe, located in the Magic Kingdom's Frontierland, will be open daily for "all you care to enjoy" table-service lunch and dinner. Cost is $33 plus tax for adults, $19 for children ages 3-9.
The Diamond Horseshoe in the Magic Kingdom is currently serving lunch from 11am to 4pm during the busy President’s week. Premade sandwiches, a Caesar Salad, and drinks are available. Three more restaurants in the Magic Kingdom Park have begun serving alcohol, joining a number of restaurants in the park that have started the practice in recent years.
Guests ages 21 and over can now enjoy wine and beer at The Plaza Restaurant, The Crystal Palace, and The Diamond Horseshoe. The beverages have been specially selected for each restaurant's unique menu.

In early November 2008 it was reported there would be Pirate and Princess parties in 2009, and dates were given. Just prior to the tickets going on sale, Disney cancelled the events for the winter dates. No word yet on whether the Parties will return in the spring.
