Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The location of A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is moving beginning July 10, 2016. The dessert party, which includes a selection of Star Wars-themed desserts and specialty drinks -- including alcoholic beverage options -- along with a reserved viewing area for the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectactular fireworks show and a souvenir Chewbacca stein, is currently held outdoors in an area to the left of the Chinese Theatre. Beginning July 10, check-in for the party will be outside of Star Wars Launch Bay, while the party itself will be held inside the Launch Bay. Party-goers will be escorted to an outdoor VIP viewing are for the nighttime show 15 minutes before it begins. Price for the dessert party: Adult (age 10 and over): $69; Child (ages 3 to 9): $39. (Disney dining plan entitlements may not be redeemed for this event, and there are no discounts available.) Tax and gratuity are included; theme park admission is not. There is no seating available for this party, but wheelchairs and ECVs can be accommodated.

Disney Movie Magic Photo Gallery Disney’s Hollywood Studios

On May 26, 2017, a brand new show called Disney Movie Magic debuted in Disney's Hollywood Studios without any fanfare. The 10-minute show transforms the park's iconic Chinese Theatre with special lighting and state-of-the-art projection mapping technology to put you right in the middle of a high-energy celebration of films from Disney's family of studios. Highlighted films range from Disney classics like Mary Poppins, Jungle Book, Swiss Family Robinson and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, to contemporary blockblusters such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Tron: Legacy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. The projections are set to a musical score composed and arranged by Michael Patti (Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, StarBright Holidays). It plays nightly before the Star Wars fireworks.

Beyond Disney's well-known Wedding Pavilion, other possible settings for Disney World weddings include Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground with views of Seven Seas Lagoon, in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom, and the Chinese Theatre at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
