Disney PhotoPass Service has recently launched a number of new Magic Shots around Walt Disney World Resort. These are special enhancements added to your photos taken by the PhotoPass photographers. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The location of A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is moving beginning July 10, 2016. The dessert party, which includes a selection of Star Wars-themed desserts and specialty drinks -- including alcoholic beverage options -- along with a reserved viewing area for the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectactular fireworks show and a souvenir Chewbacca stein, is currently held outdoors in an area to the left of the Chinese Theatre. Beginning July 10, check-in for the party will be outside of Star Wars Launch Bay, while the party itself will be held inside the Launch Bay. Party-goers will be escorted to an outdoor VIP viewing are for the nighttime show 15 minutes before it begins. Price for the dessert party: Adult (age 10 and over): $69; Child (ages 3 to 9): $39. (Disney dining plan entitlements may not be redeemed for this event, and there are no discounts available.) Tax and gratuity are included; theme park admission is not. There is no seating available for this party, but wheelchairs and ECVs can be accommodated.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge — Coming Late Fall 2019! Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Today, at the D23 Destination D event, Walt Disney World unveiled a new image from Walt Disney Imagineering that shows how the Star Wars-themed land at Disney's Hollywood Studios will look once the sun goes down. As you can see, the land will take on a whole new dimension after dark and feature adventures and surprises around each corner. If you look close, the image reveals a peek at what you'll discover in this all-new land located in the southwest corner of Disney's Hollywood Studios, including one of the signature attractions that lets you take the controls of the Millennium Falcon. Work is already underway at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland park in Anaheim, to bring the stories from a galaxy, far, far away to life in the parks.

Symphony in the Stars Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A sweet new way for guests to have even more out-of-this-world Star Wars fun begins January 8 and runs through March 20, 2016, at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party happens 6:30-8 p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with special viewing for the Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks at 7:45 p.m. each night. Guests can enjoy a selection of sweets as the night sky erupts with impressive fireworks, set to the most dramatic and memorable Star Wars themes of all time. On the menu, guests will enjoy lots of Star Wars-themed treats, including the popular Yoda and Darth Vader cupcakes and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
