Disney+ has followed the lead of streaming services like Netflix and is continually releasing new films exclusive to the app.
Disney+ has released original content like the incredibly popular Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. They recently announced that they would be creating a reboot of the popular 1987 film, Three Men and a Baby only available on Disney+, and now they have found their lead!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, High School Musical lead Zac Efron is set to make his Disney+ original film debut in this reboot! Efron will star in the role originated by Tom Selleck. Welcome back to the Disney family, Zac! The film will be produced by Gordon Gray, known for The Rookie and this year’s The Way Back starring Ben Affleck.
The original movie was based on the French film Three Men and starred Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg. It was an extremely popular film that was followed by the sequel Three Men and a Little Lady. The situational comedy centers on three bachelors who find themselves taking care of an infant. You can get acquainted with the plot and watch the original version on Disney+ right now!
