The Little Mermaid is marking its 30th Anniversary this year, and Epcot’s Coral Reef Restaurant is getting in on the celebration. That isn’t all that’s coming to Epcot, the Italy pavilion will be welcoming a new addition soon too.
30 years ago Ariel splashed her way into our hearts, and now we can celebrate with a Dinglehopper Shrimp Cocktail at Coral Reef!
For a limited-time Coral Reef will have a commemorative menu to celebrate The Little Mermaid. In addition to the Dinglehopper Shrimp Cocktail, look for Chef Louis’ Lobster Seafood Boil and King Triton’s Key Lime Tart. Plus, you can take the commemorative menu home with you (while supplies last). The Little Mermaid menu will be available starting October 19, advanced dining reservations are recommended.
Now on a sweet addition! The Italy pavilion will be welcoming a new gelato kiosk replacing the current gelato cart in the pavilion “soon”. The new kiosk, operated by Patina Restaurant Group, will offer 12 different varieties of gelato and sorbet using locally sourced fruits. Offerings will be updated seasonally and include gluten-friendly and plant-based flavors.
We will keep you posted on news about these new offerings as it is announced.
