The Disney Skyliner is going to be an all-new way to get around Walt Disney World, and we can’t wait for it to be fully operating!
The exact opening date hasn’t yet been announced, but we know that it’s set for sometime this fall, and we’ve seen plenty of testing and ongoing construction. One of the latest construction milestones was the installation of a Disney Skyliner sign.
We spotted this sign going up at the Hollywood Studios Skyliner station.
We expect to see a continued flurry of activity at the Skyliner stations as fall grows nearer.
Readers have even alerted us to testing beginning at the Skyliner station at Epcot’s International Gateway.

In addition, we’ve gotten a glimpse into what the gondolas will look like both inside and outside as they transport guests to and from two Disney World parks — Epcot and Hollywood Studios, while also connecting guests to four Disney World Resort hotels: Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and the upcoming Disney Vacation Club Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort.
