Back in March, Disney revealed that the commemorative “Walt Around the World” bricks at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center were being removed as work began on reconfiguring walkways and tram loading and unloading zones.
Disney has had the option to purchase a souvenir version of these bricks inside the parks for the past several weeks. As of today, though, you can now purchase your own commemorative “Disney’s Walk Around the World” brick ornament on shopDisney.com.
Now, these are not the actual bricks from Magic Kingdom. Instead, you have the option to create your own Disney history by personalizing a replica of the clay bricks from Magic Kingdom. The bricks have a felt bottom and are perfect for displaying in your home!
They can be purchased in a variety of sizes and options. There is a 6″ and 8″ option. An ornament option is available as well. And guess what? Personalization is FREE!

The personalizing guidelines are as follows:
- Personalized copy is UPPERCASE only
- Line 1 (required): 20 characters
- Line 2 (required): 20 characters
- Line 3: 20 characters
- Line 4 (date): 11 characters
There are also six custom designs: Mickey Mouse, 2019 Walt Disney World, Walk Around the World, Wedding/Anniversary, Annual Passholder, and Disney Vacation Club.
If you’re in the park, souvenir bricks can be purchased between now and August 31, 2019, while supplies last at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. in Magic Kingdom and at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs.
