Reopening Date for Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough Set

If you have visited Disneyland this year you have seen Sleeping Beauty Castle in various stages of refurbishment. The refurbishment meant the Castle Walkthrough attraction was also closed.

We have now learned the reopening date for the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough.

A look at the Disneyland website shows no operating hours for the Walkthrough from today through to May 27, but then on May 28 we found operating hours!

Reopening Date and Hours for Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough

On May 28, 2019, the Walkthrough is open from 8 a.m. – 11 p.m., with Extra Magic Hours and Magic Morning from 7 – 8 a.m.

It is likely the entire Castle will be open at this time as well. The refurbishment is part of “Project Stardust” to prepare the park for the May 31 opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s EdgeLearn more about “Project Stardust” here.

  1. aww man, can you imagine spending your child’s college fund to go to Disneyland only to walk down main street and see a fully tarped Sleeping Beauty castle? I find it bad enough that my favorite park always seems to be in a constant state of disrepair, but this would just be a kick to the gut! It is however nice to see them finally starting to show Walt’s park some love. It really is a gorgeous park that deserves a makeover. With all of the ride break downs, I always thought they needed to suck it up and close their gates for a year and do a major overhaul. Yeah right! lol
