A brand new banshee has been introduced at The Rookery in Animal Kingdom‘s Windtraders today.

On your next visit to Pandora be sure to check out the new Night Blossom banshee. The Night Blossom banshee is inspired by the colors and plant life that come to life at night in brilliant colors in Pandora – The World of Avatar.

The Night Blossom banshee features shades of purple, fuchsia, green and orange.  The banshee contains authentic sounds and includes three ranges of motion – mouth, head, and wings – that are controlled by hand.

When you connect with a banshee you are encouraged to make a pledge to respect and protect the natural world on Pandora and back home on Earth.

Disney also announced that Annual Passholders will now receive a 20 percent discount and Disney Vacation Club members can receive a 10 percent discount on all banshee purchases. Disney Visa Cardmembers also receive 10 percent off select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at Windtraders when using a Disney Visa Card.
