Disney’s Animal Kingdom Introduces “Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night”

Animal Kingdom is introducing a new, family-friendly progressive dinner this July. The special dinner, Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night, is inspired by African cultures and will celebrate The Lion King as well as honor some of the most majestic and endangered African animals.

The progressive dinner starts with a welcome reception at the Wildlife Express Train Station that includes a journey to the train station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

The reception includes light hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) accompanied by acoustic music. When you arrive at Rafiki’s Planet Watch there will be more light bites and drinks. Timon and Rafiki will also be available for character meet and greets and photos at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

The dinner continues at Harambe Market with a variety of sweet and savory dishes paired with unique beverages. There will also be a celebration of The Lion King and the Big Five game animals: the African elephant, the rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo, the leopard, and our host animal the lion here.
