Two Additions to Disney World Refurb List: Beauty and the Beast, Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak

Now that the Disney World parks are in a bit of a post-holiday lull, we’re learning of several Disney World attractions closing soon for refurbishment.

First up is Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station in the Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus. The water play area, which opened in June 2012 , is due to close February 11. It is scheduled to reopen on March 25, 2019.

Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage show is also going dark temporarily. A perennial favorite, this long-running Broadway-caliber show will close for a refresh from February 24 through March 9.
