3 Disney World Wine Lists Every Wine Lover Needs to Check Out

There’s no doubt that, for many of us, sipping an adult beverage is an enjoyable part of a Disney vacation. Maybe you look forward to a frosty cold beer in the Florida heat or a frozen fruity beverage at your resort pool bar.

It’s Wine O’Clock!

But what if you’re more of a wine drinker? Did you know Disney has some pretty incredible wine lists to choose from? Here are three of our favorite spots for a good glass of vino.

1. Jiko – The Cooking Place

Jiko is the signature restaurant located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. It’s known for fine African fusion cuisine — the oak-grilled filet and mac & cheese is one of its most famous dishes. Jiko is also very well-known for its extensive wine list, which exclusively features South African wines.

2. Wine Bar George

One of Disney Springs‘ newest residents is brought to you by Master Sommelier George Miliotes.

High atop the Contemporary Resort, with a breathtaking view of the Magic Kingdom, is signature restaurant California Grill.

Eighty of these varieties are available by the glass. They also have an extensive sake list to pair with your sushi. You can tell the California Grill means business when it comes to wine — the coolers at the entrance of the restaurant house 1600 bottles of wine!

The Wave Wine Glasses

We can’t talk about The Contemporary and wine without also mentioning The Wave. Located on the hotel’s first floor, The Wave focuses on seasonal flavors and sustainable practices. Because of this, they are one of the only restaurants in the world with an almost exclusively screw-top bottle wine selections. With two amazing wine lists, the Contemporary is must-stop for wine lovers!
