We’ve been monitoring the structure being added to Hollywood Studios‘ Tatooine Traders store. Work started on this just as the interior refurbishment of the shop was completed.
There have not been any official announcements as to this structure’s purpose as yet, so your guess is as good as ours right now.
The addition does appear to have the aesthetic of the Grand Avenue buildings in the area, such as Baseline Tap House and the Muppets area. Â It definitely doesn’t seem to blend in with the Star Wars-like theming of Tatooine Traders or nearby Star Tours.
We can see a modern-looking building with a green slate roof and a few open windows on the ground floor — perhaps indicating it is a future snack service area similar to The Market that opened in the park last week.
As always, we’ll keep you posted on the progress of this addition as well as what it actually is as soon as we learn more!
