Bob Gurr, the Disney Legend and Imagineer responsible for such Disneyland attractions including Autopia, Haunted Mansion, the Disneyland Monorail, the Submarine Voyage, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds, received a unique honor on December 18, 2018.
While at The Golden Tiki in Las Vegas to meet Disney fans and sign memorabilia, Gurr was presented with a shrunken head.
Gurr’s honorary shrunken head, only one of about 30 presented in total, was presented to him as he indulged in a special tiki cocktail of his own recipe.
The Golden Tiki’s shrunken heads have been made in the likenesses of local and national celebrities, including Rod Stewart, Rich Little, Carrot Top, Marky Ramone, Tom Green, Robin Leach and in memoriam, Evel Knievel, and Hunter S. Thompson.
To visit Gurr’s shrunken head you can visit The Golden Tiki in Chinatown, Las Vegas.
