Did You Know These Tips To Get Great Discounts at Walt Disney World?

Disney is a lot of things — magical, beautiful, the perfect family vacation. One thing it isn’t though, is inexpensive.

Park tickets, resorts, transportation, and dining can add up quickly! While we believe the Disney magic is worth every penny, here are three ways to get great discounts during your Walt Disney World stay!

1: Disney’s Special Offers Page

When booking your vacation, the first place you want to check out is the special offers page on Walt Disney World’s official website.  Here you will find the latest vacation packages and deals on tickets, resort rooms, and add-ons like Memory Maker! Often times, the best bang for your buck is to book a vacation package through this page, which bundles your tickets and resort stay together. The offers change with the seasons, and sometimes even include bonuses like Disney’s Dining Plans… for FREE! There are always a variety of price points and vacation lengths, so make sure to read through the details to figure out what works best for your family!

Book a package, and you could end up swimming in one of Disney’s fun resort pools!

2: Annual Passholder Discounts

Consider whether an Annual Pass makes sense for you and your family. If you’re planning to make multiple trips to the World in one calendar year, it just might be more economical! Then, once you’re lucky enough to be a Walt Disney World annual passholder, make sure you take advantage of all of the exclusive discounts that come with your ticket! For starters, you can use the Special Offers page to find resort stays available only for passholders. Annual passholders have access to discounts on tickets to many special events, like select nights of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party, as well as tours and other experiences. Passholders also receive merchandise discounts — including 20% off on most Disney merchandise. And that’s not all! Being a passholder also means discounts on dining, recreation, and spas! I ask every time I book or buy something at Walt Disney World if they offer an AP discount — you may be happily surprised! For a full list of Annual Passholder discounts and benefits, check out Disney’s Official Passholder Page.

Make sure to take advantage of all the discounts your Annual Pass has to offer!

3: Tables in Wonderland

Tables in Wonderland is a dining discount card available exclusively for Disney Vacation Club Members, Annual Passholders, and Florida residents. The card is $150 for DVC Members and passholders, and $175 for Florida residents. This may cause some sticker shock, but Tables in Wonderland offers its holders 20 percent off food and drinks, including alcohol, at more than 100 restaurants across property for up to 10 guests! In addition to dining discounts, Tables in Wonderland card holders get access to exclusive events and special dining offers. And, one of the best perks of the card, is complimentary theme park parking and valet parking at the Disney resorts, for the purpose of dining. This means, if you’re having dinner at ‘Ohana (lucky you!), you can valet at the Polynesian. After dinner, just present your receipt to show that you used your TIW discount to validate your parking. It’s that simple! If you are a frequent diner at the parks and resorts, Tables in Wonderland is certainly worth the cost. You can find a full list of benefits and restaurants here.

Ohana is one of 100+ restaurants on property that offers a Tables in Wonderland discount!

  1. While those are certainly great tips to score some decent discounts, I have a few more to add to the list.

The kinfolk said “Jed move away from there”
Said “Disney is the place you ought to be”
So they loaded up the Prius and they moved to Kissimmee,
    Florida, that is.

That’s right, if you are a incurable WDW addict, then it might be time to get a little closer to your addiction and receive the Disney Royalty treatment (discounts galore) that all Floridians receive.

    2. I don’t have to tell anyone how lucrative insider trading can be. So why not do some at WDW. Enroll your kid in the Disney College Intern Program (voluntarily or kicking and screaming) and enjoy the payoff. Your newly hired Disney indentured servant will get you free tickets and discount merchandise even your shady stock broker can’t score.
