Hollywood Studios is Home to ‘Flurry of Fun’ and Food this Holiday Season

Food and fun go hand-in-hand during the holidays, and this season Hollywood Studios is jam-packed with both of these during its Flurry of Fun celebrations!

We were able to try many of the sweet treats that abound in the park this season as they were unveiled this week. We’ll start out with a holiday favorite — COOKIES!

Flurry of Fun Holiday Cookies

Mini Shortbread Cookies

Mini Shortbread Cookies – Four cookies dipped in white chocolate and decorated with sugar candy Santas, wreaths, snowmen, Christmas trees, snowflakes, and more come in a package. Find these at Grand Avenue Cart and Hollywood Scoops.

Santa Macarons

Santa Belt Macarons – Five almond macarons with hazelnut filling decorated to look like Santa’s coat come in a package. Find these at BaseLine Tap House and Oasis Canteen.

Shortbread Cookie Sandwich ©Disney

Large Shortbread Cookie – This big shortbread cookie sandwich is filled with raspberry jam and decorated in frosting. Get it at Trolley Car Café.

Gingerbread Cookie Pops ©Disney

Gingerbread Pop – A gingerbread Mickey cookie dipped in chocolate – on a stick for on-the-go snacking. Find it at Anaheim Produce, the Churro Cart in front of the Chinese Theater, and the Main Entrance Coffee Cart.

Strawberry Mint Crème

Strawberry Mint Crème  – Marinated strawberries top pound cake in this dessert finished with peppermint crème. Find it at Fairfax Fare.

Spiced Chocolate Verrine

Spiced Cold Verrine – This chocolate verrine has house-made cinnamon marshmallows and chocolate cake. Find it at Rosie’s All-American Café.

Olaf Cupcake

Olaf Cupcake – A returning favorite. Enjoy this chocolate cupcake with buttercream frosting available at ABC Commissary and Backlot Express.

Chocolate Chestnut Pine-cone

Chocolate Chestnut Cone – This fancy and inventive pine-cone shaped chocolate mousse is served on a praline leaf that surrounds chocolate cake. Get this at Backlot Express.

Chocolate Mousse Present

Chocolate Mousse Present – The cookie base is topped with a chocolate mousse dessert and chocolate ganache — all wrapped up to look like a present. Get this at ABC Commissary.

Festive Popcorn

Festive Popcorn – This treat features caramel corn mixed with nuts, crispy pearls, candy-coated chocolates, and mini sugar cookies. Enjoy this at BaseLine Tap House and various popcorn carts throughout the park.

Prep and Landing Cupcake

Prep and Landing Cupcake – Another returning favorite, but this time it’s red! A gingerbread cupcake with cream cheese frosting (warning, our taster stated  the red food coloring gets everywhere, and doesn’t easily come off your hands ). Find this at Rosie’s All-American Café and Dockside Diner.

Eggnog Panna Cotta

Eggnog Panna Cotta – This Eggnog Panna Cotta comes with raspberry and chocolate crème. Enjoy this at Catalina Eddie’s.

Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Lunch Box Tart

Cinnamon Apple Cranberry Lunch Box Tart – A holiday version of the lunch box tart at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land is topped with snowflakes and crispy pearls!

Frozen Hot Cocoa (non-alcoholic) – Frozen Hot Cocoa is offered at ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, and Rosie’s All-American Café.

Gumdrop – Cocktail made with raspberry liqueur, raspberry vodka, pineapple and cranberry juices, and Sprite. Sip this at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge and mobile bars near Echo Lake and Hollywood Scoops.

    1. I’ve never quite understood the whole gluten free craze. Only one half of one percent of the worlds population is gluten intolerant. And less than 3% are even sensitive to gluten. That means that 97% of the worlds population can eat gluten all day long without any ill effect on their digestive system. Yet surveys show that up to 20% of diners demand gluten free choices. And gluten free options are often lacking in nutrients, less healthy, and have proven to lead to weight gain. Is there something missing here?
