Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, August 3, 2018.
A look at the Star Wars project from the 4th floor of the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
A look at the first peaks to rise up. More scaffolding is removed and vegetation is now on the formations.
A crane is lifting wire mesh into place to form one of the background spires.
The wire mesh support structure looks to be installed on the steel now. The next major step will be a first layer of concrete
The hole in the side of the building is being filled in. My original theory that this would be a service entrance was wrong. I assumed a door was going in, but it appears they are sealing it up.
Moving to the other side of the garage and a look at the new Parking Structure construction. On the far side nearest Magic Way the second floor has been poured and supports going up for the 3rd floor.
The ramp has been extended and now goes up to the 4th floor it seems.
A closer look at a recently poured section and next to it the preparations for the next two sections are underway with one being leveled and the middle one the rebar in place.
Here is a quick video clip showing the garage status.
First stop Disneyland. No real visible progress in Adventureland on the Tiki Room project.

The Matterhorn is closed for renovation and walls feature the same history panels as the last several years.
The original lineup of Pixar Short Films has moved from Disney California Adventure to the Tomorrowland Theater in Disneyland. The main sign now features the names of the three shorts, last week it did not.
Spotted this CD from Aulani at Off the Page. It features Disney music with a Hawaiian twist.
Also noticed the old Fantasmic! CD is still for sale with the original show. Seems it is time to update this with the new show.
Only about a month left to visit Bugs Land.
World of Color is still closed for renovation. But the blue perimeter fencing/tarp has been removed so seems they are moving along.
Work continues to transform King Triton’s Carousel to Jessie’s Critter Carousel.
The bay water is still brown.
No visible progress on the upcoming Inside Out attraction.
