  1. I just called Disney to make reservations for January 22, 2019, for the Festival of the Lion King package. There are none available after November 21. Will these become available in the near future, and how far in advance should we be watching to make those reservations?

We would love to avoid standing in line for 45 minutes for the doors to open by having reserved seating.

    Thank you!!

DEBK Replies: Sorry, we have no idea whether Disney will extend this special event. If we hear anything we will certainly let everyone know!

  2. I just booked the Tier 1 option for September trip. The details are very very scant. It says in the article that during the meal get the special vouchers for VIP seating…we have the 3pm show and the 6pm dinner, so it is reverse of being able to do that. Plus no mention of when/where/how to go on the unique safari.

I called Disney and the cast member said it was so new that they had no idea how it was going to work and to call back in a while and maybe (maybe?), they’d have the information I was looking for.

It sounds like a good deal…if only I knew where and when to be etc.
