The citizens of the United States of America have been celebrating Independence Day for 242 years as of tomorrow. None, I can assume, have ever looked at the history of their country like the Muppets do in their daily presentations in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom during their The Muppet’s Present…Great Moments in American History. The show may not be exactly historically correct but it sure is entertaining.

  1. I have an interesting memory of my first experience with these lovable characters.

I met one of my former kindergarten kids who was at WDW on his honeymoon. He asked me if I had seen the Muppet Show and I said I thought it was for kids. He said what you are a K teacher and you have to see this show.

I did attend and now my husband and I never miss a show when we visit.

Scott replies: The Muppets are like any Disney animated movies, there is stuff for kids and adults. Nice story, Cathy.
