Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. Not a lot of visible progress this visit. Most of the work is being done on the other side of the buildings or inside.
Scaffolding is starting to be removed from some of the spires so you can see the detail of the rock formations emerging now.
The wire mesh for the rock work is starting to be applied to the large steel structure.

The Radiator Springs FastPass distribution has moved to Cars Land. The old location in Bugs Land has just a barrier and sign up today. This area will be walled off for a Marvel project in the near future.
The new distribution location is this area next to Ramone’s. Carts are brought out. Once distribution ends the carts are rolled backstage again. It had concluded for the day by the time I arrived (1:30pm)

Everything west of the Monorail beam in Downtown Disney is now closed in preparation for the new hotel construction. Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone, and the AMC Theaters closed several weeks ago, with the rest of the locations, like Starbucks, closing this past week.

Closed out my evening with Together Forever from Main Street USA.
I gave the new Play Disney Parks App a try earlier in the day when I visited the Haunted Mansion. I loaded the app and selected the Haunted Mansion.
It said it would trigger an achievement after I exited.
Nothing happened and I manually clicked that I was there, still nothing. Later in the evening while waiting for Together Forever I looked again to try some of the trivia and it showed I had the Haunted Mansion Achievement.
I clicked on it and this is what it shows. I did not play beyond this since the show began.
Hope you enjoyed this highlight tour of the Disneyland Resort. For additional photos and details from this trip you can check out the full Disneyland Update I posted on my site, https://disneygeek.com Also be sure to follow me on twitter @disneygeekcom for pictures from the parks.
