Started by checking in on the various projects around the parks. I have been MIA recently traveling to the Disney parks in Shanghai, Tokyo and Orlando. A video overview of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge site from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure

Pictures of the site. More forms have been assembled and are staged.
They have started to install the support columns. Here you can see a trench that has been dug and the first vertical columns being set up.
A new set of kiosks are forming a pop up store for World of Disney while part of it it closed for remodeling. It is called World of Disney Too.
On the way into the park today they were distributing Solo: A Star Wars Story buttons to mark opening day for the new film.
As I stepped onto Main Street USA the Omnibus pulled up, so I boarded for a trip to the hub.

Looks like Pirates of the Caribbean will receive FastPass once it reopens. New signage and scanners are now installed.
In Adventureland work has begun on the Tropical Hideaway, which will be a new dining experience. Walls are up and demolition work is underway.
The construction wall features several pieces of Jungle Cruise concept art.
The facade around the parade gate by it’s a small world is moving along very slowly.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from Toon Town
Mobile Ordering is being rolled out at the Disneyland Resort. It is available at 15 locations in the two parks. Here is a look at the Tomorrowland Terrace pick up windows. Four of ten were set up for Mobile Order Pick Up.
Stopped by the Launch Bay to see if anything was going on for the launch of Solo. It was quiet inside with minimal waits for all four meet and greets.
A quick glance at the Pier work as I walked quickly to catch the Pixarmonic Orchestra set.
New Pixar Fest stickers at the Annual Passholder area…this set features Inside Out.
The Fun Wheel transformation is moving along. The painting looks complete and they are starting to add the gondolas back. Each car features a different Pixar character.

The walkway canopy has Pixar character cutouts on the supports now. Here is a look at them.

Inside you can just barely make out Dash.
Some cactus were in bloom in Ornament Valley.
There is an Incredibles 2 Sneak Peek at the Sunset Showcase Theater.
Inside the lobby is this display with artwork.
The preview is presented in 3D and uses some in theater effects. It is the first 10 minutes of the film.
Spider Man and Loki stopped by the Black Panther Meet and Greet.
The first part of the Naples Ristorante E Bar has opened. Construction walls have move to surround the original entrance.

The exterior painting looks to be wrapping up as this area prepares for the new dining establishments opening later this year.
The new lights on the Incredicoaster tubes were on this evening.
Back out to Paradise Park to check out the lights now that it is dark.
