Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, March 3, 2017.
These pictures take a look at some of the ongoing projects as well as my regular assortment of random pictures. Laura will have a separate post on the Red Rose Taverne and AP Days Week 4.
Starting off the day at the Mickey and Friends parking structure with an overview of the Star Wars and Rivers of America Construction.
Looks like vents have been added to the top of the marina structure as the rocks on the park side continue to take shape.
Forms for the ground level of the circular part of the building are being constructed.
Steel continues to be erected for the large show building. Notice what appears to be a new floor taking shape on the left between the ground level and upper floor.
A closer look at what looks to be a new floor taking shape.
On the far side of the site more rock framing being installed and dirt being moved around.
Gaston and Belle were out in Fantasy Faire talking with guests.
Noticed these moisture monitors around a pine tree on the walkway to Frontierland.
Approaching the construction at the end of the Big Thunder Trail. More color has been applied.
Here you can see the trestle has been painted brown (it was white when installed).
Looking through the fence.
Some renovation work happening aboard the Mark Twain.
No signs of a cover for the projector out on the island. Just the netting which is rolled up today.
The Columbia was in the harbor today. More rigging has been set up.
The bowsprit of the Columbia has been re-installed.
As you enter Critter Country you can see the trestle is taking shape.
Looking through the fence. You can clearly see the river path as it makes it turn. The small posts on the right are the concrete pads the steel guide rail for the ships will go on.
Goofy strolling near the Carthay Circle Restaurant.
The Food and Wine Festival kicks off next weekend. The Marketplaces were set up and had their name signs. No menu signage yet.
Over at the Guardians you can see a couple new elements sticking out the top. On the backside the tarps and scaffolding are coming down.
Mr. and Mrs. Incredible walking by the Hyperion.
Marketplaces line the parade route.
Poles for FastPass/MaxPass at the entrance to Toy Story.
Here you can see the wrap for the tower has been removed on the side.
More marketplaces.
The Curlsurf shop opened a few weeks ago in Downtown Disney.
On the bridge area there are some new tables and chairs.
A little dark but you can see a line extending out the door for the Red Rose Taverne but not that bad compared to last week.
Over at Tomorrowland Terrace (or Galactic Grill) the lines were to the steps so just as busy as the Red Rose Taverne maybe more so.
Found a spot for the Main Street Electrical Parade.
Prior to the start of Remember Dreams Come True they made wind announcements but the show started on time. But then come the Indiana Jones segment it stopped.
Here is the announcement that played when the lights came back on.
