Launch Period Booking Window
As Home Resort Priority reservations for The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will begin only 5 months before the Resort’s scheduled October 23, 2013 opening date, Disney Vacation Club has temporarily altered traditional booking windows to ensure that Members who call this Resort “home” will still enjoy Home Resort priority.
Members who own at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort may begin using their Home Resort vacation points to book stays at the Resort for check-in dates as far as 11 months out, as normal.
However, when reservations open to other Members beginning June 23, 2013, reservations with check-in dates ranging from October 23, 2013 through December 31, 2013 will be available in a 4-month booking window instead of the usual 7. Reservations with check-in dates beginning on or after January 1, 2014, will be available to be booked through their typical 7-month booking window starting on June 23.
This temporary alteration of traditional booking windows is designed to provide Home Resort Priority during the grand opening of this new Resort.
