Upon arriving at Epcot, grab an entertainment schedule and you’ll see on the backside, a horizontal time and location chart of musicians, actors, characters, etc… They can all be found within World Showcase, a lively portion of the park dedicated to countries around the globe.
This week Scott and I salute the men and women who keep us clapping and coming back for more.
Outside the Mexico pavilion you’ll find Mariachi Cobre, a long-established group of musicians who also teach, tour, and perform with famous orchestras and singers.
Every time I see them I want them to play Cielito Lindo (Pretty Little Sky). The song is a standard and one I learned as a kid by listening to Menudo records. Of course back then, I had no idea the song pre-dated the group…by roughly 100 years.
