Disney Pic of the Week: Adventureland!

Photographic Innoventions by Scott Thomas

Adventureland, the subject of our Disney Pic of the Week is home to enchanted Tiki Birds, Aladdin’s Magic Carpets, singing Caribbean Pirates and the ingenious Swiss Family Treehouse. Let’s not forget the most grueling attraction of all, the Jungle Cruise! Where else in Walt Disney World are you held captive in a small boat by a Skipper whose main purpose is to outdo the other skippers to see who can tell the most gut-retching puns?

I knew on my last ride on the world’s four most famous and dangerous rivers (all done in about 9 minutes, too!), the Skipper was going to get me home safely. How did I know? Look at the watch she’s was wearing.
