Disney Pic of the Week: Main Street RR Station Office

Photographic Innoventions by Scott Thomas

What sets a Disney themepark apart from the all the others is the attention to detail. Some details are little and some large. Some go unnoticed until pointed out or stumbled upon. The latter is what happened to me a couple of years ago. Thus I introduce you to this week’s Disney Pic of the Week theme: Theming Detail.

I was on the platform where the Walt Disney World RailRoad trains take on and disburse guests. I had my back to Main St. Railroad Office as I was concentrating on taking pictures down Main Street USA. I turned around and there it was. An authentic turn of the 20th Century office for a railroad. Like all of Main Street, the attention to detail right down to the sepia photos and conductor cap makes you feel like time hasn’t passed at all. The next time you are waiting for a parade or fireworks show on this platform, turn around like I did. You will find other items in this office to discover.

Lisa and Barrie will be along later this week to share their theming detail photos.
